One of the most often asked questions we receive is, “What’s the difference between a Portrait Gallery and a Portfolio?” Easy enough.
It might be helpful think of a Portrait Gallery in the same way might imagine should you visit an actual “brick and mortar” gallery. In it, you will see the artwork (i.e. the “portfolio” per se), of several artists. The same is true for the portrait gallery of Mark Jordan Photography. Except, when visiting our gallery, instead of seeing several artists, you’ll see the work of one artist, Mark Jordan.
Furthermore, our Gallery includes five different Portfolios (as illustrated above). Each Portfolio is replete with photographic images depicting the particular genre from the Mark Jordan Gallery.
We add and subtract photographs from our Portfolios frequently. However, we do tend to keep our internationally award winning images posted.
Regardless, if you’re looking for a certain type of style that you don’t see, please let us know. It could be that it’s simply a matter of that style not being posted during the time of your visit. It might also be that it’s a particular style that we don’t often design or asked to create. Either way, we are more than happy to discuss your unique needs and design a portrait especially for you.
